Cute Japanese pastry shop in an unassuming area. Wide dessert selection from cakes to macarons to cookies and the quality and care put into the making of everything was evident (open kitchen). Aesthetic, cozy interior and would be a nice spot for coffee and a dessert!

Stopped in for an afternoon coffee and a sweet pick me up while strolling around Williamsburg. Was attracted to the Japanese pastry idea which did not disappoint. I tried a piece of their yuzu chocolate layered mousse cake. It was amazing! Very light and flavorful. Many layers of thin crepes and mousse. Had this with my standard Americano coffee and life was good. Server was very pleasant and the ambiance was cool and intimate. I will certainly go back.

Review: Best Japanese French Desserts in Williamsburg, Brooklyn The desserts are worth traveling across boroughs for. In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, we were craving a delightful fusion of Japanese and French pastries, look no further. Nestled in this vibrant neighborhood is a gem of a dessert spot that expertly marries the delicate flavors of Japan with the finesse of French patisserie. Among their standout offerings, the Green Tea Roll, Triple Berry Crepe Cake, and Hojicha Affogato are absolute must-tries. Green Tea Roll:This dessert is a masterclass in balance and subtlety. The Green Tea Roll features a light, airy sponge cake infused with the earthy, slightly bitter notes of matcha. The cake is rolled with a creamy, slightly sweet airy filling that complements the matcha perfectly. The texture is divine, with each bite melting in your mouth. It's a refreshingly light dessert that doesn't overwhelm your palate, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate the nuanced flavors of green tea. Triple Berry Crepe Cake: is a testament to the artistry of French patisserie with a Japanese twist. This cake is composed of multiple thin, delicate crepes layered with a rich, velvety cream. Interspersed between the crepes are fresh, juicy berries that add a burst of flavor and a lovely tartness to balance the sweetness of the cream. The combination of textures--from the soft crepes to the smooth cream and the succulent berries--creates a harmonious symphony in every bite. It's a dessert that not only tastes incredible but also looks stunning, making it a great choice for special occasions. Hojicha Affogato For those who love a bit of theater with their dessert, the Hojicha Affogato is an experience not to be missed. This dessert features a scoop of creamy, rich ice cream that is bathed in a shot of warm, roasted hojicha tea. The hojicha, with its deep, smoky flavor, pairs beautifully with the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream, creating a complex and satisfying flavor profile. The crowning glory, however, is the sprinkling of fragrant caramelized nuts. They add a delightful crunch and a hint of sweetness, enhancing the overall experience. It's a dessert that engages all your senses and leaves a lasting impression. If you're in Williamsburg and have a sweet tooth, this spot should be on your list. The Green Tea Roll, Triple Berry Crepe Cake, Hojicha Affogato with Caramelized Nuts, and Green Tea Crème Brûlée are all fantastic choices. Each dessert is thoughtfully made, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.

This is a cute cozy spot in Williamsburg. Theres a nice variety of cakes, pastries and drinks. There's some seats around the edge of the store. The staff is quick and friendly. The matcha crepe cake had quite a bit of cream like more cream than crepe ratio.

We went closer to closing but they still had a lot of items in stock. The staff there were very nice and explained each item to us. We ordered the yuzu mousse cake and black sesame dacqouise. My parents ordered the berry crepe cake, black sesame and matcha dacqouise, and a box of black sesame cookies. The yuzu mousse was so light and full of yuzu flavor. The black sesame dacqouise had a strong black sesame taste and the cookie part was very airy and light. I've never had anything like it and wished I purchased more! My parents loved the cookies and dacqouise as well. Everything was the perfect amount of sweetness and not overly sweet! I cannot wait to go back to try other items! Definitely a spot to check out. They also do a dessert tasting menu on the weekends that require reservations and I'm definitely interested in that.

Giving this technically 3.5 stars, but rounding up since the other desserts might have tasted better! Came here right when this place opened at noon on a Saturday, and it was pretty empty. There's a few seats available for people who are not participating in the dessert tasting. We ordered a berry crepe cake slice to split, and I personally thought Lady M tasted better, but my husband thought it was very good. We weren't hungry enough to get other desserts, but maybe I would have liked something else! I have also heard the custom cakes are good! The interior is pretty cozy. I liked all the greenery and the design with the vertical wood planks. There's a good amount of seating at the counter for those who are doing the dessert tasting.

Hands down the best dessert spot in NYC! Black sesame lovers -- rejoice. This little gem of a find has made my day and I'm so happy I'm only a quick ten minute subway ride away. The black sesame dacquoise was to die for, airy but chewy... 10/10. Drum roll... next up, the black sesame ice cream is unlike any I've ever had in my life. If you love black sesame, you won't find any better than this! I loved this place so much that I ordered it on UberEats a few days later and tried their chestnut tart, fruit tart, and yuzu cheesecake which were all wonderful!

Such an underrated Japanese-French cafe in Williamsburg! Love how the sunlight hits through the wooden interior and this entire place is just so therapeutic. We ordered the black sesame and rose berry icecream. Both were rich and flavorful, especially the black sesame flavor! Japanese cafe always nail the black sesame flavor. The matcha crème brûlée was strong, and the hojicha latte was delightful.

After several prior visits of a la carte orders, I finally decided to sit down at the counter and try the dessert tasting with a friend. Delicious and delightful dessert tasting prix fixe! Really impressed with the black sesame crème brûlée with sake ice cream and sesame kinako mochi. The starter was a tasty apple pie rendition that pleasantly surprised me. Ended with cute petit fours. I'll come back to try more of the main desserts such as the hojicha chocolate souflee.

A neatly tucked away patisserie that evokes its Japanese inspired theme. I've been here a handful of times since it's a little out of the way for me, but it's well worth it! Everything is very light in terms of texture and sweetness. Some things are seasonal. I don't have a favorite since everything is so good!
